Angola NAP
As part of this national action plan, the U.S. will be assisting other nations in their own efforts, announcing new commitments to that end totalling $31 million.
Angola launched its first National Action Plan for a period of four years (2017-2020). The NAP has been developed and will be monitored and evaluated by the Ministry for Family and Promotion of Women and the Ministry of National Defense and Interior.
During the 2015 October Open Debate, Angola committed to include a gender perspective in the national budget with a view to fulfilling the commitments established by resolution 1325 (2000).
