Call to Action on 2020 WPS Commitments
On 23 April 2019, 65 Member States, UN entities, regional organisations, and civil society organisations provided oral statements sharing previously submitted written commitments to accelerate the WPS Agenda. Key themes for commitments included: National Action Plan (NAP) creation and implementation; participation from women and civil society; training programmes for various stakeholders; reforms to domestic policy regarding the status of women; conflict-related sexual violence; and women in peacekeeping, police, and the military.
