Montenegro-2020 Commitments
Montenegro commits to developing, adopting and implementing its second National Action Plan on UNSC resolution 1325 (2019-2022), in addition to prioritizing annual reporting to the Government of Montenegro, to the Committee on Gender Equality, and to the Security and Defence Committee of the Parliament of Montenegro, on the implementation of the Action Plan.
Montenegro-2015 Commitments
Montenegro contributed to the NATO Trust Fund for Jordan, which aims at increasing female representation and supporting the recruitment of female officers and gender training.
Montenegro NAP Overview
On March 21, 2018, the Government of the Republic of Moldova approved the National Programme to implement the UN Security Council Resolution 1325 on Women, Peace and Security for 2018-2021 and the National Action Plan regarding the implementation of the programme.
Montenegro
On February 2017 Montenegro launched its first UNSCR1325 National Action Plan (NAP) for the period 2017-2018. The NAP came about through a national effort led by various government entities such as the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Interior and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
