National Action Plan: Spain will undertake performance evaluation and revision of the II NAP (2017-2023). It will also provide financial and technical support to the implementation mechanism of the Jordan NAP.
Financial commitments: Spain pledges to make an annual contribution to the Women’s Peace and Humanitarian Fund.
Spain contributed 250.000€ to the Jordan NAP and 100.000€ for the project of the Women’s Platform G-5 Sahel. The new humanitarian strategy integrates WPS as a priority (pg. 65). The NAP provides for the preparation of follow-up reports that will be presented in parliament every two years. The first report was published in 2019. Spain reported on WPS in its Beijing+25 report, and pgs. 62-69 are on peaceful and inclusive societies, including WPS.
